    You will be in close communication with your child’s teacher through our parent communication app, Brightwheel, where you will have up-to-the-minute access to your baby’s eating, sleeping, and diapering, along with updates and photos of their smiling faces!

  • Experience.

    Our infant room is spacious, and colorful, and engages your child’s positive development. We use Infant and Toddler Maine Early Learning and Development Standards to guide your child’s development and learning. Our experiential learning environment and infant curriculum include exploration, music, movement, stories, fine motor activities, and other activities and materials that visually, cognitively, and physically enhance your child’s growth and development.

  • Learn.

    Your baby will experience Spanish immersion with songs, stories, and interacting with their caregivers all day long! Along with providing opportunities to explore nature in our safe outdoor spaces.

A Day in the Life of the Infant Program

Can change based on the child’s routine at home.

7:00 am – 8:00 am: Welcome - Check in. Free Play.

8:00 am – 8:30 am: Diaper Change and Hand washing - Breakfast and feeding during this time.

8:30 am – 9:00 am: Music - Children will engage in music and movement.

9:00 am – 9:30 am: Circle Time - Includes songs, stories, and puppets.

9:30 am – 10:00 am: Rest Time/Play - Working on fine motor, gross  motor, sensory/discovery.

10:00 am – 10:20 am: Diapering and Hand Washing - Morning snack: Time for a healthy snack! 

10:20 am – 11:20 am: Outdoor Exploration - Children will play in outdoor spaces, go on a walk, outdoor activity

11:20 am – 11:50 am: Rest Time/Active story time – stories where children can participate through action, and movement, or acting parts out. 

11:50 am – 12:30 pm: Diapering/Handwashing - Lunch - Time to eat a delicious lunch! outdoors weather permitting 

12:30 pm – 1:00 pm: Story time/Songs - Come together to sing songs and read stories.

1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: Outdoor Exploration - Children will play in outdoor spaces, go on a walk, outdoor activity

1:30 pm - 3:00 pm: Rest Time/Play– Working on fine motor, gross motor, sensory/discovery.

3:00 pm – 3:30pm: Diapering and Hand Washing Afternoon Snack – Time for a healthy snack!    

3:30 pm –4:00 pm: Art - Children will engage in art activities.

4:00 pm – 4:40 pm: Play - Free Play

4:40 pm – 5:30 pm: Feedings/Diapering and Hand Washing - Getting ready for home time.
